So far it's held together. It's big enough to hold his binder , a couple of books, and a lunch bag.

5-year old LOVES it!

The backpack that I got for my son when school started in the fall fell apart and we had to get a new one. He's Angry Birds obsessed, and this one is the one he chose. He loves the motif and I love that it seems well made and sturdy, He has had it for at least a month now and it's holding up nicely.
