Awesome

We carved 5 different Star Wars themed pumpkins as a family... they came out great. My youngest was 10 and she did one of the easier ones and turned out pretty good.

Nice pictures, but....

The book comes with several graphic pages that can be as a guide to carving into a pumpkin. You need a good sized pumpkin to fit some of the pictures and several of the pages are really complex. Another challenge is the the tracing paper starts to rip after a while. We tried the yoda picture, and while the process was difficult, we were happy with the end product.

The tools are junk. The knife broke after the third cut. The scooper works as well as a kitchen spoon. The punch is useful, but no more than a small screw driver. What you are paying for is the pictures.

Love this carving kit!

I am a super huge fan of Star Wars. I was so excited about this pumpkin carving kit. There is nothing special about the utensils (they are your standard carving kit utensils). I made homemade baby foot the other day and broke out these utensils just for that and they worked great again. The pages themeselves have several fun Star Wars carve outs. It's definely a great gift for any of those Star Wars fans out there.
